Col Anil Chawla, a serving soldier of INDIAN ARMY wrote this:

[7:44 AM, 5/6/2017] Pradeep mama: Will sending Pakistani artists back, stopping cricket and business with Pakistan actually end terror from Pakistan?

No, it most certainly will not.

BUT there is an emotion called solidarity.

YOU CANNOT MAKE FILMS, PLAY CRICKET, AND DO BUSINESS AS IF EVERYTHING IS FINE, BECAUSE IT IS NOT.

It makes the soldier wonder aloud, “Why should I alone bear the weight of conflict?”

This conflict between India and Pakistan is not the soldier’s personal war. He is dying and killing for you and me. Imagine a situation in which the soldier felt, and behaved, like Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt? Imagine if a soldier walked up to his superior and said, “Sir, while I am dying on the Line of Control, these people are going about as if everything is absolutely fine between the two countries.”

Why should he alone sacrifice for India, when others were making merry?

Patriotism and sacrifice is not the sole responsibility of the soldier.

The United States boycotted the Moscow Olympics in 1980, and the Russians did likewise when they boycotted the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. This is what happens when national interest is held paramount. And this is what must happen now.

18 families have been shattered like glass... But the pain of Fawad Khan’s departure is too much to bear, it seems. ..."

8 Alcoholic Drinks That Might Secretly Keep You Healthy*

Dr. Sushma Jaiswal
M.Sc - Dietician / Nutritionist, B.Sc Home Science
According to the preconceived notion, drinking alcohol is harmful to the body. It is partly true. Drinking alcohol is harmful to the body, but only in huge proportions. In fact, despite popular belief, drinking alcohol is also good for health.

Here are 8 alcohols that are secretly keeping you healthy:

Beer: The most common alcoholic drink, beer is loaded with antioxidants called phenols. This protects you against suffering from heart diseases. Beer also lowers the risk of acquiring high blood pressure and helps maintaining it.

Red Wine: Apart from being a classy drink and having the same benefits of beer, the additional brownie points of red wine is that it helps in increasing life span by generating longevity genes. It also increases good cholesterol and reduces bad cholesterol in the body.

Ethanol: Ethanol reduces the risk of wear and tear in the brain neurons. Any damage to the neurons may lead to Alzheimer's or dementia. Hence ethanol helps to prevent any harm to the brain cells.

Vodka: Vodka helps in clearing bad breath as the high alcohol content kills all bad odour bacteria present. It also helps to reduce stress and disinfect wound. It improves the health of the skin and stimulates hair growth. Toothache is also another issue which Vodka can work wonders on.

Whisky: Whisky helps to numb throat pain when it is gargled in a mixture with warm water. It stimulates weight loss. Whisky also helps in preventing dementia. Other benefits of this drink that it prevents diabetes and cancer. It also helps to keep the heart healthy, increases the level of good cholesterol and terminates blood clots. Whiskey is believed to be one of the healthiest drinks among the alcoholic beverages.

Tonic: The combination of gin and tonic is very useful while treating malarial infection as it contains quinine; which is used for the treatment of malaria.

Brandy: Brandy is one alcoholic drink which is full of healthy antioxidants. It has anti ageing properties; hence is very good for the skin. Brandy also reduces the level of bad cholesterol in the body. It also helps in the treatment of bladder and ovarian cancer as well as sore throats and cough.

Do not panic.

CTS has already laid off. Infosys, Wipro and TCS will follow.
'Automation' disaster is yet to show its massacre.

But it is high time that Indian youngsters should give up their 'Information Technology' orgasms and start to accustom to a new revolution. The IT revolution is almost done. It started withering off with the mass laying off by the corporate giants. Even the start ups are going to crumble as they have already reached a saturation point. This doesn't mean we are left jobless. We just haven't explored an ocean of possibilities and opportunities because the IT gave us a sophisticated dungeon with centralised air conditioning and free cappuccino. We are a nation of engineers and technicians. Till the earth rotates on that imaginary axis, it will always need these guys with tools to engineer and maintain new things. Computers and their evolution are just 2-3 decades old. Anything that boomed so fast will also be doomed at the same speed.

Also,
Medicine field is becoming more stressful and occupied every next day.
Law is already overcrowded.
Others sectors of engineering are also dimming eventually.

There is a whole planet outside your IT corridors. Come build things on it.

There are a whole new list of unexplored needs of this planet and its survival. I will list a few rarely touched fields but there are thousands more. Concentrate on them. Especially, the students, who have just completed their school education and waiting for their college admissions in India must look out for these options and set their career towards them. I can vouch for these fields because the coming years will need a lot of human resource to tackle the needs of these fields. Be smart, be vigilant, train yourselves and embrace the future opportunities.

- Climatic analysis and management
- Ocean studies
- Geology and disaster management
- Water reservoirs planning and creation, Flood & Drought management
- Meteorological studies
- Aquatic life studies
- Material studies and management
- Fuel, power and energy management
- Textile studies and management
- Linguistics (Language expertise) & translations
- Marketing Management in unexplored sectors like politics, science, films & social media
- International law and political studies
- Psychology and Psychoanalysis
- Artistry, Digital art and designing
- Teaching
- Educational studies and management
- Analytical studies in all fields
- Astronomy and other studies of Space technology
- Waste management and recycling studies
- Survival studies
- Demography & Culture studies
- History and archaeological studies
- Film Production and associated expertise
- Fashion engineering
- Nutrition and Healthcare management
- Cyber security
- Travel management and writing
- Mapping and related studies
- Martial arts and techniques for defence fields
- Sports studies (for both players and referee/umpiring) and training
- Content creation and analysis
- Genetics and Genomics
- Bio engineering
- Archaeology
And a lot more.

Keep an eye. Share this and thereby spread the word to someone you know. Make people around you understand. Help them to choose their best possible field and never worry about being jobless in the future.

P.S. These not so vibrant but variant fields are least likely to get affected by any recession too.

Tx to an old friend for this wonderful write-up....

Just Loved these lines Written by Vinood Khanna . . . .

" When I got enough confidence, the stage was gone….. When I was sure of Losing, I won……. When I needed People the most, they Left me……. When I learnt to dry my Tears, I found a shoulder to Cry on…… When I mastered the Skill of Hating, Someone started Loving me from the core of the Heart…… And, while waiting for Light for Hours when I fell asleep, the Sun came out…..

That’s LIFE!! No matter what you Plan, you never know what Life has Planned for you…… Success introduces you to the World……. But Failure introduces the World to you……. ……Always be Happy!!

Often when we lose Hope and think this is the end… God smiles from above and says, “Relax Sweetheart; It’s just a Bend, not the End..!!!! . . .

We both left home at 18

We both left home at 18,
You cleared JEE,
I got recommended.
You got IIT,
I got NDA.
You persuaded you degree,
I had the toughest training.
Your day started at 7 and ended at 5,
Mine started at 4 till 9 and
Some nights also included.
You had your convocation ceremony,
I had my POP.
Best company took you and
Best package was awarded,
I was ordered to join my paltan
With 2 stars piped on my shoulders.
You got a job,
I got a way of life.
Every eve you got to see your family,
I just wished i got to see my parents soon.
You celebrated festivals with lights and music,
I celebrated with my comrade in bunkers.
We both married,
Your wife got to see you everyday,
My wife just wished i was Alive.
You were sent to business trips,
I was sent on line of control.
We both returned,
Both wives couldn't control their tears, but
You wiped her but,
I couldn't...
You hugged her but,
I couldn't.
Because I was lying in the coffin,
With medals on my chest and,
Coffin wrapped with tricolour.
My way of life ended...
Your continued.

We both left home at 18 🇮🇳

Untold story Ratan Tata

The word “Great” is not the only difference in “just people” and “great people”. The story we have, should tell the reason.

TATA group is a leading business house in India. Apart from scale of business operations, they are also known for values observed in their business practices.

Ratan Tata is another man, who continued the legacy of India’s most trusted business.
When someone is insulted, anger is the only outcome. However, great people can use this anger to plan business policies and goals.

Tata group launched its passenger car Tata Indica in year 1998. The group was led by Ratan Tata and it was his decision to enter in the passenger car business.

Tata Indica was a failure in its first year and the experiment seemed to be failing. Many people started advising Ratan Tata that he should sell the passenger car business. Ratan Tata also agreed to this and a proposal was given to Ford, they showed interest too. Ratan Tata, along with his close team members reached Detroit to discuss the same. Detroit hosts Ford headquarter and considered and the automobile hub of United States.

While the meeting went on for 3 hours, it seemed that the behaviour of Ford people was insulting toward Tata group representatives. In the meeting, chairman of Ford (Bill Ford) said to Ratan Tata, “why did you enter in the passenger car business when you were not knowing of it. It will be favor if we buy this business from you”.Ratan Tata decided to move back home. While travelling, he was very tense as the feeling of being insulted was on his mind.

After earlier failures, Tata Motors did well with its business of passenger cars but in the same period, Ford did very bad. In 2008, when Ford was on its way of bankruptcy, Tata Group offered Ford to buy their luxury car brand Jaguar-Land Rover. Bill Ford, along with his team, reached “Bombay House”. “Bombay House” is the headquarter of Tata Group. The deal was finalized for 2.3 billion US $, which amounted to 9300 crore Indian Rupees at that time. Ford was incurring heavy losses from Jaguar – Land Rover division.

In the meeting, Bill Ford said to Ratan Tata, ” You are doing a big favor for us by buying Jaguar- Land Rover”.

Jaguar- Land Rover is now owned by Tata Group and is currently making profit
